New Friendships

Almost three-quarters of the total population of the Commonwealth lives in Asia, with over 50% of India's population being under the age of 25. The 2010 Games in Delhi will provide a fantastic opportunity to promote the Commonwealth Games to a New Generation of fans. India will also host the Commonwealth Youth Games, an event of great importance which will help foster an increase in youth participation in sport and physical fitness programs and contribute to creating friendships across international borders.
